People often find it hard to make decisions – inevitably we all have to make decisions all the time, some are more important than others. Decisions that are based on a foundation of knowledge and sound reasoning can lead an individual into long-term prosperity; conversely, decisions that are made on the basis of flawed logic, emotionalism, or incomplete information can quickly affect the quality of living. Hence, effective decision making skills are indispensible to a person’s life.

This module is designed to teach the various steps involved in successful decision making.

Topics include

  • Defining Decision Making.
  • Identifying the nature of the decision.
  • Listing the priorities.
  • Information gathering
  • Weighing the risks involved.
  • Weighing the pros and cons of each course of action.
  • Making the decision.
  • Reviewing decision and consequences
  • Summarizing the session.
